Indigenous Nations Studies

Director, Professor John Hoopes, 102 Lippincott, 864-2660
Scheduling Officer, Betty Pickerel, 104 Lippincott, 864-2660

The Indigenous Nations Studies Program, within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, offers an interdisciplinary M.A. degree. Graduate students in the program, in consultation with the Graduate Advisor, select one of two concentrations: Tribal Policy and Governance; or, Preservation and Management of Indigenous Resources. The current Graduate Catalog provides information about the courses that satisfy requirements for each concentration, including courses in Indigenous Nations Studies as well as courses from other departments and schools. Some courses may include prerequisites or require the prior consent of the instructor for enrollment.

Enrollment information for other courses that satisfy concentration requirements may be found in the timetable of classes for the department or school offering the class.
